LAW OF TIMING

There's a Season for Everything...

I posted the lyrics of a song 'EVERYTHING IN ITS TIME' by Corrine May in my earlier post. You can listen to the song simply by clicking on the title. A beautiful song & it reminds me of Ecclesiastes 3... :)

Recently, I've started reading The Maxwell Leadership Bible & I have been so blessed by the valuable leadership lessons from the Word of God! YAY!

Here's an excerpt from the book I've been medidating on...

... "we don't control the timing of most events; the best we can do is to recognize the timing. Ecclesiastes 3 teaches several important lessons:

1. It is our responsibility to recognize God's timing, not to change it.
2. It is our responsibility to accept & cooperate with God's timing.
3. Our alignment with God's timing makes a great difference.
4. God has made everything appropriate in its time.
5. God has put eternity in our hearts, so we must trust God to communicate His timing.
6. We can do nothing better than to rejoice & do good... " *grin* :)

EVERYTHING IN ITS TIME

Written by Corrinne May Ying Foo & Carole Bayer Sager

Sometimes I wonder what lies ahead
How long till my hunger is fed
They say it's hard to make it in this part of town
So many people on this merry-go-round
Some folks try astrology
Some turn to crystal balls
To find an answer, To get through it all
I just fall on my knees and I try to pray
In the silence I can hear Him say

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to patience and watch for the sign
Everything in its time

I often feel like I'm two steps behind
Somebody must have moved that finish line
There are a thousand reasons
Why I should give up
But I'm stubborn in the things I believe

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to patience and watch for the sign
'cause maybe there's another plan
One I still can't see
A little surprise, like your love in my life
Funny how time changes how we see

The river runs and the river hides
Out to the ocean and under the sky
I promise you, the answer will come
Hold on to patience and watch for the sign
Everything in its time
Everything in its time

CONNECT

Relationships precede ministry. They are so significant in shaping our lives & helping us learn the truths (sometimes hard truths). It is ssoo...ooo important we build and maintain valuable friendships. Agree? Hmm..

With our busy, busy schedule in life, it can be pretty tough to stay CONNECTED with EVERYONE.. This blog is set up because people matters & I want to CONNECT with you.

"Two are better off than one, because they can work more effectively. If one of them falls down, the other can help him up... Two people can resist an attack that would defeat one person alone. A rope made of three cords is hard to break"
Ecclesiastes 4:9 (TEV)
Be blessed! *wink*

AN AMOUR BEARER

An inspiring reading...

WHO IS AN AMOUR BEARER?

  • He or she is someone called to serve & help leaders so that their vision in God can come to pass. It sounds so simple, yet what it requires of the armour bearer is really much more. God has prepared an armour bearer for every leader, and nobody can really become an effective leader without first serving as an armour bearer to another leader.
  • An armour bearer must be a confidante, friend, servant and follower of his leader.
  • One who can communicate his leader's motives and ideas to the rest of the people.
  • He must represent his leader and intercede for him in every situation.
  • He must love his leader with all his heart and determine to do everything it takes to help his leader.
  • There is indeed such a calling as an armour bearer. Some people want to take shortcuts and are unwilling to serve their leaders first. It is not possible. Because to lead someone, we need to be a follower first.

Will YOU be an ARMOUR BEARER?

Be blessed! :)
